How to Play Poker

Each player is dealt with two cards by the Dealer. The first player to act is on the Dealer’s left. This commences from the left until the last player in the rightmost side. If the first player or the next player decides to place their bets in the pot, the rest have the options of calling, folding or raising the bet before the game can move forward.

This will continue until each player has made their action. The dealer will deal three cards that are facing up right after. These are the Community Cards that can be used by any player to form a house. The first three cards dealt are most commonly known as the Flop.

Everyone still in the hand is urged to bet, check, raise or fold again. The dealer will once again deal a card once everyone has concluded their actions. The fourth card placed with the community cards is called the Turn.

Everyone is once again urged to bet/check/raise/fold before the last card is dealt. The dealer will place a card amongst the community cards once everyone has concluded their actions. This makes it the fifth card that is also called the River

Everyone is once again given a chance to bet/check/raise/fold again after the River is put down. If there is one or more final player that is left once everyone is finished with their actions, the hands are exposed. The player who forms the highest house with cards taken from both his or her hand along with the community cards is the one that wins the pot.
